With Steffy and Liam recently losing their baby on The Bold and the Beautiful I'm not sure many fans saw Brooke's miscarriage coming.
Brooke had been trying to convince ex-husband Eric that he should raise Bill Spencer's child with her as his own. Eric, who is seeing Taylor, refused and stood firm that Spencer should know the truth. And seemingly on dime, Brooke too changed her mind.
Brooke suddenly saw the reason in Eric’s argument that Bill Spencer should know the truth about his child, regardless of what it did to Katie. Brooke headed over to Katie and Bill’s mansion to confess her and sins and drop her baby bombshell.
But Brooke didn't get to tell Katie and Bill her news. She passed out first. At the hospital Brooke learned she has suffered a missed miscarriage. There was no longer any need for Brooke to tell Katie about her affair with Katie’s husband. Let alone that she’d been pregnant.
Brooke Logan usually does things with a lot more drama. Brooke’s unremarkable miscarriage feels like a hurriedly written storyline. Perhaps to appease the Bold and the Beautiful fan base who really didn't like that Steffy had lost her baby and that Brooke was pregnant - again - with a baby conceived in an inappropriate relationship.
